On April 9, 2020, the Taiwanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) stated that Taiwan had launched a new series of surgical mask donations to countries affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Last weekend, a Boeing 747-400 from Taiwan landed on the Luxembourg tarmac to deliver masks mainly to Spain and Italy, but also to other Member States where necessary.
