According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), because of health crisis, 2020 represented a turbulent year for aviation industry; passenger traffic has fallen significantly by 75.6%.
Luxair had been directly impacted by the health crisis in relation to Covid-19. In its 2020 annual report, the company closed the year with an operating result of -159.8 million euros and a net result of -154.9 million euros.
But the air carrier remains perseverant and motivated, reinventing itself at all levels, operations, on-board service and organisation.
