Vodafone to set up pan-European logistics platform in Luxembourg

On 26 October 2022, Luxembourg Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot and Ninian Wilson, the CEO of Vodafone Procurement Company, signed a memorandum of understanding for the establishment of Vodafone’s pan-European logistics platform in Luxembourg. The platform will strengthen Vodafone’s presence in Luxembourg even further.

The new pan-European logistics platform will consolidate Vodafone’s logistics operations for mobile and fixed network equipment. Taking advantage of Luxembourg’s central geographical location and its advantages for the logistics sector, Vodafone aims to consolidate most of its stocks in a connected, sustainable logistics centre covering 29,000 m2. The centre will distribute equipment to the company’s other European entities. The activities of this innovative and highly automated logistics centre should begin at the end of 2024.
