On 07 June 2019, during the first World Food Safety Day, Paulette Lenert, Minister of Consumer Protection, announced the new Commissioner for Quality, Fraud and Safety Food: Patrick Hau.
Safety food is one of her priorities. The objective is to set up a single administration to bring together the various skills related to food safety and fight against food fraud.
