A person, who does not have a LuxTrust certificate yet and is unable to travel to Luxembourg, may complete their identification at distance to obtain a LuxTrust product. For that, the applicant must rely on a notary who will authenticate the copy of the applicant's passport or ID card. The copy must have an apostille seal before being sent along with the other items requested depending on the product ordered. When the LuxTrust certificate has been delivered, the user must activate it.
