New law on controls of import, export and transit

A new law entered into force on July 24th, 2018 to regulate controls on import, export, intra-Community transfer, and transit of dual-use goods, defense-related products and other goods such as diamonds.

This law also deals with commercial restrictives measures (quotas, embargoes), brokerage and technical assistance as well as technology transfer.

The Licensing Office, which is responsable for these controls and for the delivery of related authorizations, becomes the Control office for exports, imports and transit.
