Commercial policy measures

All measures established in view of promoting or limiting the development of the international trade of goods between two customs territories. Their objective may be to preserve the interests of the interior market and consumers or to promote the development of exchanges with certain territories. The following are examples of EU commercial policy measures: common customs duties, free trade agreements, quotas, prohibitions or monitoring of importation or exportation of certain goods, anti-dumping duties, etc.
